Epson FastFoto FF-680W Review

I don’t know if I’ll ever get to do an Epson FastFoto FF-680W* review, but I sure hope so.

As of this writing, it claims to be the world’s fastest personal photo scanner. It can scan thousands of photos as fast as one photo per second at 300 dpi. That’s plenty big to go in your memoir. However, if you want something larger, it still does about 8 photos per minute at 600 dpi.

According to reviewers, it can scan photos anywhere from 3″ x 3″ up to 8″ x 10″, plus longer panoramic photos. It also scans documents at a high speed, so if you’re looking to remove some paper from your life, you’re going to love it even more.

At first glance, the scanner seems a little pricey, but when you think of getting all of your photos scanned quickly, plus emptying your file cabinets, you realize it’s a steal. Just compare it to the price of sending thousands of photos off to be professionally scanned.

The reviews for the Epson FastFoto FF-680W are amazing. So, if you have a large photo collection and you’re ready to knock it out, definitely put the FastFoto your shortlist!

The only reason I’m waiting to try this scanner is that converting my entire collection of print photos hasn’t quite made it to the top of my “To Do List” yet. When I’m ready though, I’ll definitely be looking for the latest Epson FastFoto model.
